Tatsuki Sakushima of NRI led a case study presentation on Japan Airline’s (JAL) use of OpenID and Trusted Data Exchange (TX/CX) for federated identity with hotel and car rental agency partners. JAL saw a 100% increase in partner registrations as a result of the OpenID federated ID deployment. Praveen Alavilli of Amazon endorsed the work of the UX Committee and the User Interface Extension. Brian Kissel reviewed several case studies summarizing the quantitative and qualitative benefits of OpenID and third party authentication.
